<p>Objective:
SAT I (breakdown): 2050 (because of a very low CR score… I suck at reading & vocab)
SAT II: 770 (Math II), 760 (Chemistry)
ACT: 31 with an 11 in writing; 33 super-scored
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.9
Senior Year Course Load: AP - English Lang; Calc BC; Physics C; Euro. Spanish 4th year.
Number of other EA applicants in your school: 9
Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): A good list… </p>

<p>Extracurriculars: A crazy amount. I also have had numerous leadership roles starting from my freshman year.
Job/Work Experience: Internship through the ACS to conduct research at a university; 320 hours of research.
Essays (Include Subjects): Liked them all; My “silence” essay was very strong and the “why chicago” was personal and my favorite.
Common App Main: Liked it
EC Short Answer: I wish I could have written more…
Extended essay (which topic): Many people liked it.
Why Chicago: my favorite of them all!
Recommendations: My teachers love me :smiley:

Weaknesses: IDK… probably my school…
Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: Honestly, no clue. I’m sure my school has something to do with it because not one of the ten who applied got in. </p>

<p>General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations, etc: Congrats who got in. Looking through these threads, I feel horrible because some really smart people got deferred. It’s okay guys! It’ll happen. I’m also waiting on Northwestern, Brown, and WashU.</p>
