has anyone heard from preferred admit Ross business school?

Hi-
I submitted my app in the 2nd week of august and my transcripts and recs were in to UM in Sept, and I still haven’t heard anything. Anyone else in the same boat?

i dont think Ross Decisions are part of ER, my bro applied a couple of years ago and did not hear from Ross for a long time (i think march or april) after he was accepted to UMich. I think Ross has a difference admissions office, like LSA accepts you and then they send your stuff to Ross, so Ross cannot even start looking at it until LSA has made a decision.

Never Mind. However, It says all my information was received around 11/04 - 11/10 since they were postmarked before the 10/31 will I still be considered for Early Response?

You can call admissions and ask. I called the other day to confirm that I was eligible for ER.

From the admissions website ( [University of Michigan - Office of Undergraduate Admissions](http://admissions.umich.edu/) ):

In other words, most people who are worried about whether they qualify for ER or not are fine.

Anyone get in tonight…?

big negative over here in jersey

Has anyone been admitted from the mid/south states yet?
And is every other Thurs. a potential decision releasing date?

Yeah, someone told me that Michigan makes acceptances only on thursday and friday… does anyone know if this is true or not true, or if it is other days?

it’s usually the end of the business week
i’m not sure but another batch will probably come out this friday :D

I’m hoping tonight’s the night.

I wouldn’t be surprise if a number of students got accepted today. Probably just don’t know about this forum.

Midwest Student had everything in by 11/4, received admission decision 11/26.

When people reffer to previous decisions being released late at night on friday, does that mean they were released early on a Friday morning or early on a Saturday morning?

wow, november applicants are already hearing back? Greatful, can you please post ur stats, I would be very grateful. =)
urgh, applied October, still waiting painfully

International applicants and applicants from certain regions of the US will get their answers much later than students in other parts of the US.

Alexandre–do you know which regions of the US? i live in the midatlantic, applied 10/20 and haven’t heard back yet.

Hey all

well at my school, in Florida, i know of 4 people who have gotten in with similar or better stats than me, and i know of about 10 more kids who haven’t heard back yet. what could that mean?

Kong, as for stats of the midwest student, all I will say is they are good. ACT score top 1%, 6 APs, 5 more to go, (most challenging curriculum offered by school), perfect or near perfect SATIIs.

ECs - debate, instrumental music, tennis.

Avg volunteer hours.

Several state awards and national recognition in math and science.

Counselor does a very good job putting a packet together - they show average stats in ACT and SAT for the last three years, number of NMSFs, AP Scores, etc. - this is for the class of 2006, 2007, 2008.

Grateful (there is already a user with that name) :(
