OFFICIAL University of Michigan Decision - Class of 2013

omg im relieved lol i was thinking if they forgot about me…:s

im a music major. and still nothing. i applied december 1st. eeek

this is ridiculous. out of the 14 colleges that i applied to, michigan is the only one i havent heard from. and i applied 4 months ago. I havent heard a single thing yet…its a little ridiculous.

^ yeah I know it’s annoying. One of my friends is still waiting for the decision and she’s almost given up on it…

i applied on Sep. 27

i applied for early response, got deferred in late december, and am still waiting on a decision, should i expect something in the mail or on WA?

Haven’t heard. Applied January 3rd.

Has anyone seen their decision pop up on the weekends? I know its a silly idea, but I really do not want to go into next week waiting for a school. I guess the earliest I would know is April 6th (which is ridiculous).

I’d count Michigan out if it was not my #1 school. As my friends have moved on to looking at the courses they are taking at their selected colleges, I am still waiting on a decision. Sigh. WHY ME?

yeah i’ve just straight up given up all hope.
its not worth it anymore. ugh. i heard back frm the NOT rolling admissions schools first.
i don’t even know why it’s taking so long. I applied December 28th…why should it take more than the 96 days that it’s already taken. UGH. efff my life.

^NEVER EVER give up hope. You never know until they tell you that you can’t come.

Even then you can always apply to Michigan as a transfer or in grad school. There’s always a next chance. Just keep working hard. (By being on this site, I’ll assume that you all are naturally hard-working and brilliant people)

i never really had hope, i just meant that i give up on waiting–i wouldnt go there if i got in anyways; my top schools were Vanderbilt and U Illinois @ U-C and since i got into both engineering schools, my decision will be between the two of them. If i get into michigan it will just make me 14/14 on applications. lol.

^Hockeyislife14,

See? At least you do have hope. You’ve already been accepted to 13 schools … you have plenty of choices, and the option of have choices for schools is a luxury some people can only dream of. IMO. This is coming from someone who’s been accepted by 2 out of 6 schools.

so what exactly does mid april mean. should i expect something this week?

presumably mid april means we’ll hear a decision by april 15th at the latest, which is what the admissions dude i called told me. also, whats this about all notifications being snail-mailed from now on?

when i called today the person told me they would not be posting it via WA, but rather through the mail, so i dont know

the question is are they making all decisions by the 15th or are they sending them out by the 15th so we will get them even later??

i think even later. cuz i didnt get my ER decision exactly the date they said on their website. i think by mid-april, they mean all decisions will be MADE no later than mid-april. so we may just need to wait couple more days after mid-april…
F@#K MICHIGAN!!!

yeah… michigan admission office sucks…

wow - this is soooo frustrating!

i guess im not the only one who’s suffering from the wait… i applied december 30th and still havent heard:(

I applied Jan 2nd or the 3rd…and still haven’t heard…

Are they going to send e-mail first? and then snail mail?
