[] SAT II: Math II-800, Physics-700
[] Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 4.071

[] Summer Activities: Calculus 3 at the local college over summer break.
[] Essays: Talked about my research in alternative energies and my interest in math and science. On the why Penn essay I tried to get across how much I loved the actual school and campus.
[] Teacher Recommendation: One from my calculus teacher and the other from my physics teacher. Both teachers made it a point to get to know me and make the essays really personal.
[] Counselor Rec: Average counselor template probably.
[] Additional Rec: One from my mentors at the lab which emphasized my interest in the research.
[] Interview: Went extremely well. My interviewer was more like a friend by the end of the interview. (To be honest though I think every interview goes well)[/ul]

Reflection[ul]
[] Strengths: Experience in research from my lab internship.
[] Weaknesses: SAT score was average for Penn. Few AP classes and few extra curriculars.
[] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Do what you love and love what you do (corny I know). Apply to a school, or program because you are genuinely interested in it, not because of its name. Then proving why you want to go there is easy.
[] Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: I only applied to Penn.[/ul]
**General Comments: For anyone who is planning on applying to VIPER, try and take as many math and science classes as you can. Also try to get an internship in research because I really think it made all of the difference.

Anyone whos already been accepted to VIPER, message me! I want to meet you! :)**
