[ *] Volunteer/Community service: do a lot with my church, including mission trips to Louisiana and West Virginia.
[ *]Summer Activities: Volunteer at annual Church sale, also volunteer at church’s Vacation Bible School, NYLF Forum on Medicine. (Does surgery count as a summer activity? Probably not but I did a lot of that.)
[ *] Essays: Personally I think they were very good. Common App one was about my mom, but wasn’t horribly cliched. Penn supplement was good too. I mentioned specific aspects of Penn as well as how they personally would fit me.
[ *] Teacher Recommendation: I’m assuming very good. One was from my sophomore/senior English teacher who knows me very well. Other was from my geometry/precalc teacher who was apparently a Penn graduate.
[ *] Counselor Rec: Probably pretty good. I think he knows me well enough and probably wrote about how I’ve overcome obstacles or something like that.

[ ] Interview: really Good! He was a lawyer but was originally Premed. He liked literature a lot too, so it went really well!
