Official US November SAT Discussion II (Test with Negative Campaigns)

I’m pretty sure it is that their claims were not supported. Because before that it says that the ads are orchestrated

Well, I’m pretty bad at math. Well not really, its just I’m not used to having so much stress and time limits.
I don’t think that is experimental, since I had the usual 3 math sections.

it was fanaticism, I think. (I picked atavism, DAMN.) anyone know the answer for sure for the question with set A and B and asking for some of the subsets… or was that experimental? I really hope that was experimental asdkfljsdj. someone please confirm. I had math experimental :d

I put agitated for the friend of the girl that married. I put jovial at first, but changed it – i’m pretty sure it’s not jovial, from the context. The description of her chattiness had a negative connotation. It was not exasperated because exasperated is too strong of a word. The friend was just nervous.

Yeah I also chose something was not expected,because nothing was supported…

@classiclays:
No, I’m sure I got the 3^7 one correct. This was a different problem. # of factors of 3 under 1000.

i think for friend of girl it’s agitated -> troubled or nervous
in passage, it said specifically “excited anxiety”

what was the answer for mexico going from 18mill in 2000 to 24 mill in 2007?

@purplicious

so u mean agitated… uhhh :(

if you chose that because nothing was supported then why didn’t you choose the answer that directly said… their claims were not supported…

@ scintillation

what was the question asking?

the last digit of the product of a multiplication only relies on the last digits of the numbers you multiply together

I’m pretty sure the reason why ‘positive’ was italicized was because the assertion that was coming was going to be unexpected, quite contrary to the usual meaning of “positive.” The first passage was against positive campaigning.

Wait. Did anyone have this one passage about individual thinking versus group thinking?

I had 4 math sections… does anybody know which section was the experimental?

@f1 i think i didn’t get that.

@f1: yes. That was a decent passage.

math section with rectangular solid of volume 52cm^3? that’s the one i thought was experimental

@Purplicious

See, I thought about that for a little bit. The problem with that is that it isn’t used throughout the rest of the writing. After that it goes straight to negative. Therefore, it must have been referring to the orchestrated claims.

@ smoochumkisses: yep, I picked it because of those words as well.

Fraction of test takers that scored above 10 on the first test and above (or below?) 40 on the second: 1/2 or 0.5

officious
portended
fanaticism.
ostracized… unwitting
sanctuary
coagulate

@scintillation It didn’t seem that bad in my opinion, but sadly, I think that was experimental :|

What did everyone get for (1/2)^X.
I chose E, because it was the only possible choice.
Negative and increasing if X<0, and positive and decreasing if X>0.
