i don’t fully agree with the nevertheless one, I think I put afterall if i am not wrong?

What did you guys put

i don’t fully agree with the nevertheless one, I think I put afterall if i am not wrong?

What did you guys put

idk “and so” just seems so wrong, either change it to “and gave” or add a comma and write “,which gave.” Agree or disagree? I think with “and so gave”, its a run-on.

“nevertheless”'s what i put… but i heard that peopler’s saying that it’s not right

nevertheless… 99% sure. just like 99% sure on no errors for penguin (flightless birds), Jane Goodall, and lexicographer. 29 I’m still pondering over, though I did mark an error.

i disagree with “which gave”, because any verb after “which” has to describe the noun right before “which”. so… it won’t work.

Does anyone remember the critical reading question that had answer choices:

(A)capacity
(B)suitability

I think the question had to do with Lorna’s ability to make friends (I put her capacity to make friends)

true, sorry about that @any… I was just coming up with an example off the top of my head, and “which” definitely does not work. On a related note, does no one else think this is a run-on with the error being “so?”

the paintings she selected for her art show were more varied than those of her previous show [and so gave] critics

Also, for CR, was “cool” supposed to mean “agreeable.”

sheepgetkilled
what does “gift” most likely mean in context with “gift of friendship”
capacity
suitability
preference
contribution

dchenfire, the general consensus from all threads indicates that 29. was no error.

im pretty sure on all of the CR… cool was reserved, gift was capacity… The reason being a gift is like a talent or an ability, same as a capacity. The other choices just dont make sense.

dchenfire

I remember there was a run-on sentence in the error ID section. Number like 24-25, I think the answer was C.

@pan okay darn. But I thought I read through all of the threads lol… And so far, it was only you saying it was no error. Idk, maybe I missed a few threads, and I just want to see some responses right now. So again, is this a run-on with the answer being “so?” Any other responses? I’m probably wrong, but I just want to gauge opinions.

I thought the parents were cool as in agreeable (pleasant)?

The parents were at first pleasant but then behaved very rude with regard to the situation.

@sheep did you get no error for 29? Pretty sure it was reserved.

Nvm, “so gave” is definitely correct. However, I was sure there was an error somewhere in that sentence. I like never mark errors unless I know something is wrong, just can’t remember it. And I knew the rule you were talking about @pan. Can anybody with a really sharp memory try posting the sentence as close as possible to the original? Like the whole thing. Thanks.

i vote for “no error” :P

I believe the it should have been “giving” or “thus giving” instead of “and so gave”. Anyone agree?

lol… I’m pretty sure that it was agreeable (google search what it means if your not 100% sure). however for 29, I was sort of stumped but I don’t really care since I got a 730 last time…
