you just brought up a really good point
a sentence completion we missed was INTERMEDIARY

okay seriously now?
independent clauses linked together with conjunctions, fine
but the subject of the sentence never changed

the paintings she selected for the art show were more varied … and so [they] gave her critics

btw the penguins question was [evolve in] absence of predators
not evolved past tense
not evolved in the

we’ve got some confirmation bias in this thread :s

yea, im feeling 29 is prob no error, or some obscure grammar rule like the new zealand question from october with “when” (people couldn’t name that error either, it just sounded like a run-on/awkward, and sure enough, it was an error). @smooch, do you agree with all of the answers in the above list for CR? Thanks.

o, and ignore the vocab part. Though all the ones listed are correct, even i can’t remember some of them like obtrusive

more inclusive list from before. Any disagreements?

@dchenfire:
i’ve seen a lot of debate on positive italicized
whether it was unexpected way or unsupported claim
hard hats: sincere > humorous
visionary: compiled sources for all fields > herald future discoveries
gift for: i’ve seen a lot of debate on this one too
i’d go with suitability or preference over capacity

i had math experimental and i never saw obtrusive
and i just remembered that the second word with delinquent…CHARGED

edit: for skeptical, i’ve seen ranges from disapproval, disagreement and skepticism… it could go either of the 3

what were the options for the charged question?

hmm, from what ive gathered, its humorous for sure, capacity or suitability (most likely capacity), italicized is unexpected way for sure, pretty sure herald discoveries (though decent amount of debate)

Guys, for the writing sections, were there 4 “No Errors”?

does anybody remember the non-experimental sentence completion that went somewhere along the lines of …

the company wanted the architect to design the structure to match safety and aesthetics, or ________ and ___________ …

I remember two choices were
austere…ornateness
sound…attractiveness

i guessed sound…attractiveness but idk if it was right

thats rite werthjon, anda @loseyourself, i believe thats right, though 29 is minoirly disputed. But the consensus is yes, it is no error.

@smoochunkisses
are you sure that the penguin question said:
[evolve in] absence of predators
not evolved past tense
not evolved in the

At this point, there is no more use defending your answers. It’s over and done with. The CB is in control of what they think is right and wrong now. The consolidated list is just so that you can estimate a range of scores that you might get. Take everything that there’s a debate on and -1 your score.

The three week wait is going to kill me though :(

Can someone please talk about #29? I might be able to offer some insight, and I just want to know anyways.

Wait, is #29 the one relating to the artist and the painter? That one was definitely E (No error). What are the arguments against this? I scrutinized this question for a good 2 minutes because I had quite a bit of time.

So what wud u say is -6/7 or like usually for november tests?
