<p>@pizzo389: Dodge is a great program, it’s more than just “up and coming” at this point. They have really impressive faculty–check the professors on their website. At least one of the adjunct professors is a superstar producer who won Best Picture for the Sting. If you get in there, that’s an impressive feat. Also, don’t forget a one Steven Spielberg was rejected 3 times from SCA production. So obviously a rejection from there reflects on your future career.</p>

<p>@pizzo USC did make a mistake. Wow a 3.8 with those ecs could get you into many top tier universities. It’s just the number of applicants that make USC competitive. It’s overrated and really just on par with other CA privates such as chapman, usd, lmu etc. What makes their ranking so high is alumni donations which is responsible for constituting of about 30% or so of the overall ranking. Keep your head up :)</p>

<p>So 2 days ago, my status switched from the June 1st to the April 1st/freshman status, still no enrollment box, called USC day before yesterday and they said my decision was mailed, does this sound like good news?</p>
<p>Oh and on the backlink page, it shows April 1st/freshman still.</p>

<p>My SGR status just changed to the April 1st status, as well. Not sure what this really means, so we’ll just have to wait and see! It’s nice to see the change, though.</p>

<p>Does anyone have april 1st on the backdoor status check but received a rejection letter? I don’t have the april 3rd status and haven’t received anything stating they’ve sent me anything. I’m wondering if they’ve made a decision yet.</p>

i had the april 1st backdoor status and was rejected. it is dated may 26th, the same day i got the mid-year report box on USConnect</p>
<p>@RDC206 It depends if you submitted all the required documents before the deadlines which were like in February/March. I was admitted last Friday and received my FA package monday/tuesday.</p>

<p>And I had mid year box and April 1st status. I could also log into oasis and web registration.</p>
