<p>HEY GUYS. Posted a little earlier saying how my status changed to “April 1st” today. I just checked out OASIS again, and under the “Stars Interactive Audit Report” it listed my major and units in progress, satisfied requirements, etc. Pretty sure this means I’m in. Unfortunately, I got in for my 2nd-choice major. Still happy though! If any of you have the April 1st status, I suggest you try logging onto OASIS and checking it out. Fight on!</p>
<p>@jj19bsu I got all the documents and what not submitted on time. I gave financial aid a call, won’t hear until the middle of next week, had to talk to admissions and they extended my deposit deadline. Not sure if I should take it as a good sign or a bad sign that it’s taking them so long to process it heh.</p>

<p>@Uptown: Use your 10-digit USC ID (can be found on USConnect when you open up your Admissions Status box) as USC ID. Password is your date of birth “MMDDYY”</p>

<p>What exactly is this backdoor link I’ve been hearing about? When I log into USConnect, I click the Admission tab, I have four boxes (Undergraduate Application, Application Status Check, Admission Documents, and “Follow Us on Twitter.” When I click on Application Status Check, it says: </p>
<p>"The University of Southern California is pleased to offer the ability of students to receive online messages regarding the status of their application. However, all decision notifications are made via postal mail. </p>
<p>We have received your Common Application and USC Supplement, and it appears we require no additional information at this time. We will be reviewing applications through the month of March, and we expect to be able to meet our commitment to notify transfers by June 1st. Sometimes, in the course of our review of applications, we find that we need additional information. In such cases we will mail a written request. If you receive a request for more information, please respond promptly. In some cases we need to review final, spring term grades. If we request these of you, we will provide specific instructions on how to submit your spring grades to ensure speedy handling. In these cases, we make our final decisions later, typically by mid-July. </p>
<p>Nothing in the mail today either. So whats the backdoor link, and what do you guys think this means? They just haven’t made their decision yet? BTW, it’s a transfer application, SCA</p>
<p>@imwhit Neither accepted nor rejected yet. But I’m expecting the worst at this point. My back door has April 1 Freshman status, but it always said that.</p>

<p>Maybe I checked my account so many times, I wore out one of the boxes, and that’s why there are only three. Yep, yep, that’s probably it.</p>
<p>Do you get your financial aid with your acceptance package or is it true you wont get it until after you pay the enrollment fee?</p>
