Still June 1st darn

@Ngarcia3 what did the activity restriction say before today? does the activity restriction update everyday?

angieyeh- The activity restrictions was the same thing except the date was updated and its only updated when a decision has been made. But nothing else on my OASIS is updated.

For those who were accepted did your OASIS change the same day you got the April 1 status? Like financial aid and STARS interactive audit report?

maybe we should ask the people in the fb group since most of them have already been accepted. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee im really nervouss!!

Ngarcia thanks! i wonder what the change means lol

angieyeh- Did you get a stauts change today as well?

yeah I have. “Activity Restrictions as of 04:17pm on 07/12/2012”

Is your financial aid date or STARS interactive audit updated?

No neither changed.

@strengthtw

Mine is still June 1st too… I’m trying not to get obsessive, but it’s hard when everyone seems to be getting accepted already…

I just got the three boxes of death… So heartbreaking…
does anyone know whether I can still apply for Spring semester?

@jessie sorry to hear that, here is USC’s policy on spring

Although we do not accept applications for spring admission, we do consider all fall applicants for a place in the class entering in the spring semester, which begins in January.

from [Dates & Deadlines - USC Undergraduate Admission](http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/apply/dates_deadlines.html)

it appears April 1st only means a decision has been made now and it can proceed to either ECD or 3 boxes.

Just got the April 1st status a couple hours ago. Finally!!!

Checked Oasis and my financial aid status and STARS report have not been updated yet. From the facebook group posts, it seems that your financial aid summary comes at least a week or two after your official acceptance. STARS reports take around the same time to update as well. At least we can still log into OASIS :)

Hey all. Been reading all your post and thought I would chime in. I was accepted about a month ago and my stars report has not changed. According to USC when I called, it won’t until we go to orientation. Good luck all.

Just to be clear, I wasnt talking about the STARS report. I was talking about the STARS interactive audit report. In the corner there is a date that says “Prepared” and it lists your major. Also for the financial aid i wasnt talking about summary; I was talking about the document status. This shows the date that it updates, for example " Status as of 03/20/2012", not when you actually get your fin aid package. I was so nervous/excited I wasnt clear. :/

Thanks for all of the responses :)

APRIL 1ST STATUS FINALLYYYYY
Dornsife applicant, it’s been like over a month since I’ve had the June 1st status so it’s good to see that they’ve finally made a decision! Now I’m just waiting to see if it’s an acceptance or a rejection .__.

High school GPA: 3.3/3.4
Fall semester of college: 4.00
Got a spring grade request on May 3, sent in my grades early June. Got a 4.00 spring semester.

Got the June 1st status and then today it changed to April 1st.

So what exactly have we decided that the april 1st status meant? It just means they’ve made a decision right? It’s not a good or bad sign right?

nvm totally just read through the last ten pages and apparently the april 1st status is nothing to get excited about :(

now i’m scared to see whether i get the ECD box or the three boxes tomorrow morning. talk about not sleeping tonight .__.

my financial aid review date on OASIS changed to the date I received my ECD. My STARS report and interactive audit are all updated. I got my acceptance package today!

My financial aid review date just updated to being “reviewed as of July 13 2012.” I guess I’ll find out my decision in a couple of hours or so.

@strengthftw I was accepted as undecided back in may…from what I heard its an easier decision for them all they look at is pretty much gpa and your English classes and math

Did anyone else receive a financial aid email regarding more info?
