Looks like I’m going to transfer from a CCC to either UCSD UCSB or USCS for the fall semester. Do you think it’d be okay to reapply to schools for the spring after already transferring?

I got the enrollment box too!
Viterbi Electrical Engineering
Currently: Physics major 3.51 GPA

Congrats to those who’ve gotten it!

@dpayan If this is like the other schools, some people found out through the mail first and some people found out online and it spanned a couple days. This just means they started sending out decisions. I wouldn’t worry much about it.

If it makes you feel better, this dude got the same email we got last year shortly before being admitted http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/14484253-post7418.html

Side note, including email titles when you post makes finding stuff a lot easier later on lol

@kkhkkhkk: I got an email with my USC ID. Then went onto USC oasis and had to change my password, but that’s about it. I didn’t even know I had an oasis account until I checked this thread.

@lovepig46: congrats! I got mine too! I guess that means we’re in

Alright guys, I registered so I could post this. Is anyone else in this thread trying to get into the neuroscience program?

I’ve been having a hard time trying to figure out how competitive the neuroscience major is and roughly how many people apply to it–it does not seem like there are many, but it could be that they’re lurkers like me.

I feel that knowing more about the admission rates for this major is the only possible indicator of whether I’ll get in, because it seems like nobody really knows what exactly it is USC looks for in applicants.

Also, I read through last year’s thread and saw some neuroscience transfers getting decisions around June 1st, if anyone else is curious.

why is Annenberg torturing us! My mailbox has become my worst/best friend and my mailman thinks I am a weirdo. Anyway… waiting…no losing hope Annenberg applicants we got this! :/

Yeah Annenberg is slower than SCA. That is so weird.

@Baylover. I got ECD this morning, and we r the same major entering in the same semester, good to know u in advance !!

If you got an enrollment deposit box or the official package in the mail, post your stats here! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/1504695-usc-transfer-decisions-2013-a.html#post15947405

Cschropp24,
why are you pushing your decision thread so hard?

SCA applicants with ECD what was your major?

Well the decision threads that have been made in the past are actually really helpful for prospective USC students who are waiting to hear back. And it is also interesting to see the stats of accepted students.

Better than it being cluttered on this thread.

@sp1993 Production

Just got my acceptance package in the mail!!!

SCA Critical Studies. Fall 2013. No ECD online!

Where exactly does the ECD box show up? Is it in the admission tab in USCConnect?

@frankthetank1: yeah, it shows up in the admission tab in USConnect. It’ll even show boxes that say Fall Admits: Connect With Your Future Classmates

@ sp1993, did your status at least change and say they were mailing you a decision? or no updates in usconnect at all?

No update at USC Connect at all, but I live in NY so it had to be sent a few days ago.

@sp1993 great sign! I am a Critical Studies applicant as well. Congrats.
