<p>When I talked to admissions counselors, I was told since it’s a private school, it doesn’t matter where you’re coming from and that there’s no preference given to CA students</p>

<p>What would be annoying is if they are purposely delaying people from getting admitted who got the fin aid email to give them more time to fill out the fin aid forms so they can make an informed decision on if they want to go.</p>

<p>I’m guessing his theory revolves around that USC has evaluated most CA colleges in the past, knows their rigor, so is able to notify those candidates faster. At least, I guess that is a theory lol.</p>
