Official USC 2014 Transfer Thread

@jasmine427 Congrats

Hey everyone! So, saw a lot of you have been getting letters from USC, I was just wondering what state your from. I applied as well, but I live on the east coast so it takes a while to get letters accross the U.S.! I was just trying to figure out when it should come!

@EveryDamnDay‌ I would assume that most of us are from California. I’ve seen a good amount of out of state students but I think generally most of the users in the thread along with other applicants not on the forum are from California.

I was never able to log on to oasis and still am not able to, is this a bad thing ?

For Oasis, were we given usernames?

@bobo79 It’s your USC ID#, you can get it from usc connect in the right hand corner when you check your application status

@philadelphia‌001 Congratulations!

@bobo79 i think people are using their USC ID

@romab93‌ Some of us had that problem earlier. I did, but I was able to login a little bit later. Give it some time
@bobo79‌ Yes we were given usernames (should be a set of 10 numbers I believe). Check your “Thank you for applying” email from USC…it should be listed in there.

Got into Oasis. Nothing special though. no sgr as well.

i still can’t get in, I have been trying for weeks now:(

I’m confused, where do we get our Oasis password? The only information I have received is for USC Connect. These are separate entities right?

Some people have to use MM/DD/YYYY format the MM/DD/YY format does not work for everyone.

It looks like if you have less than 40 units, there is a 95% you’ll get SGRed regardless of your GPA. The fact that I’m applying to annenberg doesn’t help my case :frowning: thanks for the heads up @JR2013‌ I know the acceptance rate for Annenberg was 16% for transfers last year and I cant believe its going to be even lower this year.

@kmc357 The password is your birthday MMDDYY (6 digits)

For future people wondering about Oasis and how to login…
Step 1: Check your “Thank you for applying to USC” email for your 10 digit login. It should be one of the first (if not, the first) email you’ve received from USC. That or go to USConnect and check your number in the top right corner.
Step 2: Your password should be your birthdate in this order: MMDDYYYY or MMDDYY. If not, you either forgot you created an Oasis account or you got to email USC about it.

@kmc357 it’s your birthday mmddyy

@finefreshfierce‌ yea its not looking great for us. What major did u apply for in Annenberg?

I still can’t log into OASIS. I’ve tried several times over the past few weeks and I’m 100% certain that I’m using the correct login information. I’m using my USC ID and MMDDYY as my password. I’ve tired using the full year as well and still no luck. I’ve also tried using my USC Connect password, but that has not worked either.

Im confused…why is everyone obsessing about logging into OASIS when it doesn’t even do anything?

I think OASIS might mean you got in
