@fightingtitan I got accepted as business major for Spring 2015 ! :))

Wow seems like 99% of the people here are getting accepted.

guyssss,

I might get a W in my last quarter in community college. Do you think usc will rescind my admission???

Do rejection letters only come in the mail or can you figure out through USC connect?

@alohaloha Burn it and don’t let admissions see it. JK :). What’s the W for? Did they request an SGR from you? If not, I don’t think they will know about it until you transfer those units in the Fall.

@fadumbear Pretty sure there’s a PDF on USConnect as well as the letter in the mail.

@MarshallBound the W is for philosophy and my major is business. I already got accepted for SPRING 2015. I am afraid that they might rescind my ADMISSION when they see the W

@alohaloha I highly doubt you’ll get rescinded. From what I know and if USC uses the same system, once you enroll lets say Spring, they will request for your transcript (this is not SGR). They just want all the grades from your college that’s all. I don’t think you should worry about it as you didn’t get a SGR.

didn’t hear back anything from usc, my last restriction date is still the same (may 2nd), and my USConnect says “we expect to be able to meet our commitment to notify transfers by June 1st.” not june 3rd like most of you guys… psych major applied for psych/dornsife. well… i am 90% sure i got rejected. congratulations to everyone!

@transfersammy I am in a very similar situation, I haven’t really received any news. This is supposedly happening to people that live local to USC, more than those further. Either that’s a good thing or a bad thing. I am trying to be optimistic, but I have been waiting for so long that all I want is a decision so I can stop obsessing! I am a film production major.

@fadumbear ahh. I live in NorCal/ in San Francisco… i don’t think it’s local to USC. Good luck to you

Just got my acceptance letter PDF on USConnect!! It comes with an “additional condition,” though.

I got my PDF! It’s official! I got in Oh wow I am so happy because I was so worried that wasn’t good enough for USC! Hopefully I get my packet tomorrow since I live in southern California.

@transfersammy Mine still says June 1st too though, so don’t give up hope!

@xsayax Congrats!!! Hope we have classes together!!! Ok so for the “additional condition”…what if you don’t have their minimum GPA grade for spring semester…this spring i had 4 A’s and one B but then because of some stuff that happened I ended up getting a D+ in one class which dropped my GPA from a possible 3.8 to a 3.3…does anyone know anything about this and do yall think my admission would be revoked because i didnt meet the condition :(

@chilambar Thanks! I hope so too!! The conditions for mine say “Please remember that your admission is contingent upon verification of official academic records, satisfactory completion of course work, and avoidance of academic and behavioral misconduct.” Did they list a GPA for you? If they did list a GPA you can try calling them and asking about it, I know people have in the past. I’m worried a bit too because I going to get a C (worst case D) in Math, but I’ve heard that they really only rescind you take a major nosedive (lots of D’s and F’s) or fail prereqs.

@xsayax Congrats! where did you see your PDF if you still have ‘June 1st’ stuff?

@lasting what is the additional condition? are you spring admit?

@MentionTim Thanks! The PDF is in the current messages box, it says “Application Decision Notification” and the day it was sent. Then it loads a pdf when you click on it.

@xsaysax Congrats buddy!

@chilambar I failed calc 2 last semester! got a big hairy F on my transcript. it dropped my gpa from 3.7 to 3.1
we had a little “rough conversation” with the professor and things got bumpy. so yeah he went ahead and failed me!
to my surprise the only available calc 3 class was also with him this semester lol

thought id show usc what im capable of and im not really the “failing type”. i took 2 physics classes along with 3 math classes this semester might sound like a silly move but itll pay off when they ask for my SGR. im looking at a good gpa!(so far)

good luck to all of us.

I just got accepted!!! This is a dream come true!!! #FightOn!!! :(( :)>-
