@VivaLaVida14 Same. However, my IAR report has not changed! In fact, all the courses in the catalog have disappeared. I hope this doesn’t mean rejection.

@gabbyrrr I sure hope that’s the case, no matter what. My major is Spanish, although I would hope to change it to IR if possible. How about yours?

@bobo79 I don’t believe there has been any changes on my IAR report either. But then again when it comes to that I was just recently able to access it (browser issues). The only difference on OASIS was the update on the restrictions tab, and it was just on the date that appeared.

Those who received sgr. Can you log into oasis?? I tried birthday+birthyear and it never worked… is this a bad sign??

@back2home Some people, for whatever reason, have never been able to log in to OASIS. However, most of us can whether or not we have received a SGR. It’s not necessarily a bad sign if you cannot, though.

@back2home @dmdwelle Apparently there’s a rumor that if you didn’t apply for financial aid, you won’t be able to get on OASIS for now - also you tried both methods? DD/MM/YYYY and MM/DD/YYYY?

@back2home It’s not a bad sign @IRforlife That rumor is incorrect

I was accepted yesterday (June 3rd). I received a letter in the mail, but as of right now there is no available options for me online since it still says that a decision hasn’t been made. I guess they just sent out letters and are still pushing to finish all of the online work as soon as possible.
Good luck to everyone here!

@Fabian94 Did you previously get a SGR or were you just accepted? :)

Any sgr people get rejected… Looks like everyone who got spr, who got decisions so far,have been accepted.

@spottedgiraffes I got a SGR on May 6, I turned them in in person on Thursday of last week and received my acceptance this Tuesday.

@Fabian94 Congratulations on your acceptance! What are your stats? And what was your spring grades GPA? Sorry to ask so many questions! The wait and anticipation is just killing me. Haha.

@spottedgiraffes Don’t worry, I’m glad to answer anyone’s questions :)

College Transferring From: El Camino College (Located about 30 minutes from USC)
Entering As: Sophmore
GPA: 3.375
Units Completed: 56
Units in Progress: 12
Pre-reqs: Completed
GEs: Complete
Spring Grades: 3.5

I’m not really too competitive grade-wise compared to many others on here that you might see. Growing up 2 blocks away from USC allowed me to be a big part of the community and participate in various programs at the school during junior high and high school. I would like to encourage those who feel they do not have the GPA for the school to keep trying and to not be discouraged by a rejection. Many of my close friends were accepted with GPA’s of 3.3-3.5, but they were all very involved with their communities and participated in various programs. I myself was lucky enough to have been part of the USC community for over 7 years now, so I believe that my acceptance was heavily aided by this.

Don’t get discouraged! I was rejected in high school, then again last year, then my appeal was rejected as well. Now I’ve made it, it takes a lot of dedication! Don’t worry too much about your grades as long as you are within 3.25 or above, get out there and try to become as well rounded as you can!

Good luck to you all!

@Lasting

You were SGR’d but accepted before sending in your spring grades? How does that work?

EDIT: Or did you mean you were accepted not the basis of your unofficial transcript, and had not sent in the official transcript?

I just got rejected from SCA film production…

@Fabian94 lol u went to ecc? I went there too just for the fall semester 2013

Accepted!

It’s not at all a bad sign if you can’t log into OASIS

And no it has nothing to do with FA

If anyone got rejected from SCA F/TV Pro and wondered why, I would make sure it’s not because of my credit load. I got accepted to USC but I didn’t have enough credits for the program anyway. By the end of spring I only had 45 credits but you need 48 TRANSFERABLE (which I wouldn’t have had anyway) to be considered.

For those that were accepted, how long did it take for the IAR report to be filled out once the restrictions were updated? My restrictions have been updated as of yesterday but the IAR has not changed. Also, on USC Connect, they have confirmed that they received my spring grades too.

@bobo79 I think if you are accepted, you’re IAR updates the next day. That is what I have been seeing mostly. Maybe two days the latest, but mine filled out the day after by restrictions updated.

What does this mean?
