Official USC 2014 Transfer Thread

@CoutCin Ahh, sorry to hear that.

Definitely bad news for me too, since I applied as a CS major and my GPA is lower than yours. However, my restrictions haven’t been updated for me since January. I’m expecting news soon.

@cidzor Don’t think like that yet. I did skimp on the recommended physics course and primarily focused on programming courses and whatever math I could complete, so maybe I just wasn’t prepared enough for the major in their eyes and it had nothing to do with my GPA.

If one’s restrictions have not been updated since 1/31/14 does this indicate anything?

Also, I am glad to see everyone holding their heads up and their hopes high! We are all very qualified individuals and everyone is going to go very far!

Does it mean a definite rejection if there is no entent to enroll box on ur usc connect? And what do you think it means if nothing on Oasis is available?

@CoutCin‌

I plan on applying for Fall 2015 for computer science as a Junior, with about the same number of credit hours as you. Would it be too much to ask what courses you have taken? I’m surprised that you were rejected and I hope that I won’t be headed for the same thing. Before I transfer, I will have most of the requirements completed but not much more (I just now will be taking Calc 1 & 2 next year before transferring). Physics isn’t really required is it? Did you take Chem/Bio either for the Lab Based Science requirements?

someone help!
I know people have been posting this a lot, but I need to make sure…

am i in???

@anyabel‌ All signs point to… Yes! Congratulations!! =D>

@dmdwelle‌ thank you!! Well then I got accepted!!!

Was accepted yesterday! Got SGR mid May and sent my grades last friday and got it in the mail yesterday! WORK HARD AND YOU WILL SUCCEED! FIGHT ON!

I lost access to oasis. Is that normal??? @dmdwelle‌

@anyabel‌ I have no idea, I haven’t been accepted so I don’t know if that’s normal or not.

@anyabel DS just lost access to Oasis too. He tried to log in for the first time today but it’s giving him the message: “You have entered an invalid USC ID / Pin.” Is that what you’re getting?

Edit: Is anyone else having trouble with Oasis?

@XFER14‌ I get that message and can’t log in either.
hopefully something is updating…

@XFER14‌ I get that same message since the day I realized there is OASIS…Maybe I could log into OASIS after I submitted application… But when I type different password (not month/day/year) I get “You have entered an invalid ID, please try again.” Pretty sure the pin must be month/day/year right people?

I can’t log into Oasis either, but I haven’t been rejected or accepted yet. I guess we’ll all just have to see!

Thanks @rodioneng‌. Hoping that’s the case too.

@back2home‌ He could log in previously (first time he had access to oasis was in May). Interestingly, he seems to only receive the message: “You have entered an invalid ID, please try again” (invalid ID only) when he tries to log in with MM/DD/YYYY. His password was also saved into his computer so we’re sure that he wasn’t typing in the wrong password.

@Statesman2712‌ Same for DS, no word yet on a decision.

Good luck to everyone!

@XFER14‌ yes I have that too. But my stars report was filled out with my major and credits.

I was already accepted like a month ago, and I got that error message about invalid ID too so don’t worry about it. (I can still access OASIS though myUSC however). They’re doing a lot of orientations right now (including yesterday), so maybe that’s why? A lot of students are registering for classes and that might mess with the system or something.

My restrictions were updated 2 days ago on Oasis and my STARS report was filled out yesterday. Nothing in the mail yet, but there is now an Intent to Enroll box on USConnect and I’m hoping that’s good news!
