what does that mean? my financial aid form had that this morning now it’s gone… ?
If we got the “ability to benefit verification notice,” is there any way to find out which term we got in for?

Yes, the ability to benefit form will disappear. Mine disappeared by the evening (saw it at noon on the day of). I do believe the worst case scenario is a spring admit (no one here has said they got the form and got rejected).
They send the acceptance packets via priority mail so you all should receive it soon.
Hi all, I never got the “ability to benefit” because I didn’t apply for financial aid. My restrictions updated yesterday at 5 p.m. and my Stars report filled out 3:30 a.m. today. I was accepted to Viterbi for fall. So excited!!

i didn’t apply for financial aid and i dont have access to oasis…and im abroad so no access to my mailbox.
can people let me know how long the portal will take to update after receiving the physical decisions?

Did anyone else get a disappointing amount of financial aid…I have to cover half the cost of tuition on my own. Which is pretty much impossible (lol). How bittersweet; got into USC but probably won’t be able to attend (sigh)…
I just got my acceptance letter in the mail. But I live in the LA area so it might take longer for people that live farther.
@woahwhat financial aid still wants forms from me, so no decision on that end yet for me.

I’m so excited. Big yellow envelope just came in the mail. It arrived two days after my restrictions changed!

Do you guys think that maybe it’s good news some of us are still waiting? I mean it would be pretty sadistic to deny someone on the last possible day
@woahwhat How long did it take for you to get your financial aid package after getting accepted? I’m also afraid of not receiving enough. Maybe you should go talk to the financial aid office about it? I was thinking of doing that if I didn’t get a good package.

My STARS report has been filled out! And I think I am going in Fall 2015 because it says, " Term of USC Entrance 20153."
Under the LEGEND section, you can find out that “20153 = FALL SEMESTER 2015” and “20161 = SPRING SEMESTER 2016”

@theneoarcadian how did you get a hold of your STARS report? Don’t you need an OASIS account? And don’t you need to be registered in the school to have an OASIS??
@theneoarcadian Congrats! Your package should arrive by Monday!
@SCtransferer I think it was a glitch in the system a few months ago. A lot of people, like me, were able to access OASIS using our student ID’s. Just because you don’t have one doesn’t mean you won’t get in though.

Is it possible to get in for your alternate major and be a spring admit? Or is it just one or the other?

Got accepted yesterday by email - admission packet on the way!!! Unlike most of you that were SGR waiting to hear back mine was first a rejection with no SGR then overturned on a successful appeal

I just paid my $300 acceptance fee! So excited to be the fourth person within my family to be attending USC. FYF to everyone, if you are a Fall 2015 admit, the last day to register for summer orientation will be August 1st, and the orientation date is August 12th! Good Luck to everyone!
