Hmm, I think it just takes about a week. Although with me, it took them a week just to tell me that I was missing something else 
I’ve only ever gotten emails when I’m missing something. So all I can really say is that you keep checking and eventually it’ll be there
@madlion21 I noticed you successfully appealed for transferring, could you let me know how you sent this to USC? on yousc or through physical letter?
@infinitely2014 Yes, email a one page letter to your regional counselor requesting that you be reconsidered for transfer acceptance. The most important part of your appeal is new and compelling information that wasn’t in your original application. I did not get a SGR although my grades had improved significantly and I also included a summer internship/job that wasn’t on my original application. I was accepted as a Spring admit which is okay at least I got in!

Been lurking here for months and today got my Ability To Benefit Verification. Talk about down to the wire. Has anyone gotten this and NOT been accepted? Still cant believe it.
This forum has been so helpful and has made the wait bearable. So much good info too. Thank you all.
@soccerboy619 at this point it looks like a positive thing. It seems like there are 3 possibilities for this long wait (totally an opinion). 1. They love your application, you’re in, but not enough room in fall so they’re waiting to see who dosent enroll to put you in that spot. 2. Your app was pretty good, they’re running out of spots, and are trying to fit you in spring. 3. The worst, they have run out of room and will be sending mass rejections.

@jch718 thanks so much for your positive note! It means so so much! I’ve been following your posts for a while and when I saw you got in, I was so stoked for you! I really hope its either option 1 or 2, because at this point, I’d kill someone to get into USC haha. But if it is option 3, so be it! But I’ve been seeing so many acceptances, that I’m getting hopefully, hopefully it’s not false hope! The minute I hear back, i’ll let you know. What comes first, packet or portal?

@BeigeCardigan I think I might end up commuting. Although i’m trying to avoid it it seems like the best option right now…I live in the San Fernando Valley so it’s a pretty far drive. Where did you see the carpool program?
