*******OFFICIAL USC Class of 2019 Results/Discussion Thread**********

@apples90049‌ Thank you!

@Platinumxx2 they usually come after though. SCA sends a separate acceptance letter

@Itsdomoo so would I know Thursday (when the accept. packet would reach me) if I’ve been admitted to either Production or Critical Studies?

@platinumxx2 You should know if you have been admitted into the school. In the past years and this year, SCA has sent in a separate acceptance letter. You would probably know online though, when they say your major and minor.

On Friday, the admissions go live online too, so if mail is slow, you’re looking at finding out Friday at the latest. Good luck everyone!!

monday: :-S
Tuesday: :-SS
Wednesday: [-O<
Thursday: ~X(
Friday: X_X

These will be my moods for the week if i have to check the portal Friday because my decision hasn’t come in yet.

LOL… love that, newsie! ^

please chance me everyone ily

so if i live in orange county could i expect my letter the next day?

Does USC have a common data set? If yes, can someone send me a link? Thanks!

@Goinwittheflow‌ I live in orange county too and I was almost positive that it was gonna come on Wednesday but then I was looking at past threads and it seems like it might take two days after they send it…so Thursday :frowning:

Does anyone know what the most selective school in USC is (outside of SCA of course)?

I know annenberg is super selective but im not sure about the most selective. I feel like everyone wants to be in marshall tho

These are not in any order, but certain majors have the reputation of being highly selective: Interactive entertainment/games, all performance majors in Thornton, BFA in School of Dramatic Arts, World Bachelor of
Business, Thornton composition, Global Health and Disease Prevention in Keck School of Medicine and perhaps the most difficult may be the lovine Academy.

Please note the above list is my own personal opinion.

How am I supposed to deal with this anxiety?! It’s all I can think about, and I live all the way out in Tennessee… No letter for me until the end of the week… (If I even get one)

USC posts a very detailed Freshmen Profile which can be found in the undergraduate admissions forum on the SC website. Also posted is a list of facts and figures on the main website which has more information concerning the university.

FYI

Student/faculty ratio is 9 to 1
Freshmen retention is 97%
USC sponsors study abroad programs on five continents
Size of freshmen class, usually around 2900+
Campaign for USC latest total was $4.07 billion
Estimated applications to USC, including transfer applicants, for class entering in August 2015 is 62,000

@ArsenalFan69‌ oh my gosh. my birthday too ahhaha. It would be the best b-day gift if its an acceptance letter :smile:

@katcon‌

If you are accepted, your mail will be sent through priority mail which won’t be anymore than 3 days. For Tennessee it may very well be two days. But I wouldn’t be worried if you don’t see if right away though!

Does anyone know of some signs online that sometimes hint towards being accepted?

what if us getting in was all dependent upon how many of those math questions we get right when we try to log into the portal? lolol
