@collegeswag1997 it’s okay! USC was always number one, so hopefully I’ll get that
@Cameron121 I plan on majoring in psychology on a pre-med track. The Dartmouth thing is looking pretty good to my family too, haha. My dad is a Dartmouth alum, so he’s especially for it, but USC is just the “one” I guess you could say!
@onmyway21 The only ones who have heard so far are the major scholarship winners… RD go in the mail tomorrow – USPS priority for admitted students. CA kids admitted should get the news Wed. Apparently, decisions will be online on Friday. The acceptance rate for USC is much tougher than UCI, but we’ve seen quite a bit of good news here.
According to Parchment, I have a 33% shot at being admitted, and had a 31% shot at UCLA (denied). So basically, not getting in It’s been my dream school since I was seven. Hopefully I’ll be invited to the Trojan Transfer Program at least…
Yeah i know about the rate :/. I have a question though. @LegacyMom. I just so happen to be a legacy applicant. So i just wanted to know how much that would affect my decision. I know they still must take into account all my credentials but just wondering.
@onmyway21, It might help a litte. I heard a Georgetown admissions counselor say legacy status might be able to heal the sick, but not raise the dead. My sons are legacies, but they had good test scores and grades, so I’m not sure how much it made a difference. If you don’t get admitted for Fall, you have a great shot at being a spring admit. Good luck!
Man I hope I’m “sick”. And I’m interested in this possible spring admit even though that seems kind of strange. Thank you! I have a lot more questions, but for a later time.
But they would notify you that you’re being considered for spring admits I’d assume?
oh and if anyone is baffled by my editing times, my computer has CA time and my phone is on PA time, because I’m in PA right now, moved from CA in 2013 (10th grade)
@Itsdomoo @onmyway21 Yeah, you just attend another school for the fall semester. I’m looking at either UC Santa Cruz, LMU, or Santa Monica College for that semester if I get a spring spot.
So scared, PArchment said I had a 51% chance of being admitted to UCLA (denied) and a 31% of USC meaning I am most likely going to be denied. Although it said I had a 21% change of getting into UVA and I did. This is killing me.
