Official Yale 2015 RD Countdown Thread

I’m staying up as late as possible tonight (err, this morning) so I can wake up just before decisions come out (it’s spring break here). I applied SCEA to Yale, and it’s still my numero uno. Good luck everyone!

Me too! I also can’t fall asleep right now, so that helps. Yale is my absolute number one, and it would mean the world to me if I got in, but I’m still not expecting it (who can, really? -unless Yale does that likely letter thing and follows through with it). Even though a waitlist would painfully prolong the already very stressful admissions process, I would still vastly prefer it to a rejection, because I’d still have hope.

At 5 EST it will be exactly 15 weeks since the SCEA decisions. Hopefully the wait pays off. Good luck everyone! This is it!!!

I couldn’t sleep at all last night either! Today is definitely going to be one of the longest days of my life. Good luck to everyone here–I’ll be crossing my fingers for all of us. :)

I am honestly surprised there are not more people online! Maybe no one wants to think about it…haha. What ever, I know what my decision is going to be (rejection) but it’s all good it’s better than not trying at all. I am going to Rutgers anyway, I already enrolled and I am looking foward to it. I am still trying to decide if I should post if I got rejected…it’s so shameful.

What about you guys, what if you get rejected, will you post it up in the decision thread??

Yes, I’m posting regardless. I don’t know is this is right to say and if I am jinxing myself, but I have a good feeling about how tonight is going to go. I don’t know if that means Yale or not, but we’ll see.

I’m not sure how this day is going to end, but I just want to say good luck! Believe it or not, we’re going to survive.

As confident as I am (and should be), I’m still nervous! All the hard work, and it seems this is the most competitive year ever: [10 College Admissions Trends: Southern Schools, Waitlist, More - The Daily Beast](The Daily Beast: The Latest in Politics, Media & Entertainment News)

Been lurking around for a while and decided to post something
I can’t believe decision day is here already! Almost every time I think about decisions I literally start to fill nauseous. Gah! I just want to know already!

4 hours. -__-

I’m about to leave to get my root canal. Then I gotta get gas and rent my tux for prom, then it’s back to the computer to wait for decisions! So freaking nervous, even though I know what each letter will say.

Lies. I dant git no email.

ummm no? ^^

doubt that’s legit

wow this is really exciting. I can’t believe I will know exactly where I am going to school next year in approximately 38 minutes.

30 minutes!

25 minutes until I go from being a Yale applicant to a Yale rejectee. It is still very exciting

I never got my Eli Account Pin. I mailed in my application, I sent an email to Admissions last week but haven’t gotten a reply. What to do?

Is anyone else getting an error on the Yale decision page? Hope I’m not the only one…

But in other news, omg only 23 minutes left. Not sure if I should use these last few minutes to dream or if that will make the rejection worse :/

I get an error too. don’t worry though, they are just probably updating the page

Almost there!

@Golf308 - That is actually a rather depressing way of looking at an already depressing subject! hahahaha
