I finally parted with my 1970s boots that I bought when working in hs at Thom McAn (similar to Frye boots popular at the time). I was tickled to have a freecycler that wanted them. I gave a few other pairs of my old “vintage” shoes too. It made me feel old but warmed my heart too.

I see a theme going on here, so I will hang on to my classic Burberry trench for as long as it fits me. B-)

I think that my oldest item is my blue Cub Scouts shirt from about 1985.

It still has the patches and beads (?) on it.

Oh – I’ve got LLBean duck boots that are probably 25, 30 yo.

I just bought 2 pairs of Repetto ballet flats (think Audrey Hepburn) and I do plan to wear them for the next 20 or 30 years!
