<p>It depends. They changed up the rules this year on passes and the like. Plebes get one pass per semester, one spirit pass per semester, and one religious pass per semester. That changes once you are a yuk and cow and firstie. You get no off-post privileges (OPPs) except for Plebe-Parent Weekend and A-day. OPPs get you into NYC and i think that Firsties have unlimited OPPs and I am not sure for cows and yuks.</p>
<p>But as a plebe, you have walking privileges every weekend after your duties. So after football games, training, whatever you are required to do, you can walk into Highland falls. Wo hoo. You have to be in white over grey for that or dress grey. So you can go to lunch, whatever. </p>
<p>Now all this is dependent upon what activity you get involved in. I made the Glee Club and I have been out of WP and in civilian clothes three times last semester, which as far as getting “out” is pretty good. Corps Squad sports teams leave a lot when they are in season. I don’t know much about them simply because I am not on one, but they practice alot and some of them take away your breaks like thanksgiving and christmas for practice. My roommie is on the crew team which is club squad and they are going to FL on spring break for practice. </p>
