<p>My plebe d is on WAR (Women’s Army Rugby), which is a considered a club. Her team has traveled a lot off post around the New England area. So, even though she missed all but 1 or 2 home football games, she was able to be out in the world a little more. Of course, the team travel is dependent on you keeping your grades up.</p>
<p>She has told me that being on WAR has made it easier for her to assimilate into the WP environment. It gave her a built-in support system, and friends from plebes to firsties. It has also provided a physical outlet for all the stress that can be part of the WP system.</p>
<p>You are required to be involved in a sport, and I believe that you can only be involved in one activity that allows travel off post. So choose carefully.</p>
