I hope not after 5, I’m dying to know already!

Hello, from what we heard last year acceptees to Santa Cruz ranged from GPAs 3.2 and up. Also I am fairly sure there were those with SATs in the 1100 range. Went to visit the school last year ( niece attends). It is sooo beautiful. I honestly have not seen a more amazingly beautiful campus
( referring to the woods and the beach).

admit site already up for appeals, under FAQ so decisions soon- SATs look very low but the way that they are used is interesting. they take all 5 scores, then double the highest, add together and divide by 2 . so this is great for some one like sanami, bad for my S who only took tests once and has basically 650 in everything. also explains points for every component-- if other UCs also have odd way of calculating, again shows mean stats for SAT 1 not that informative.

it used to just have my name but it switched back to saying march 15 on the app status page… hmmm

so…tommorow is the big day?

well if you son has 650’s across the board then he should not have problems getting in, i have the same exact thing as him(literally 650 on every single section) and im sort of confident ill get in

ok my status just changed back to blank. do you guys think theres any chance that they would post at midnight?

Based on what the other campuses have done, it is more likely to be after 5:00 pm tomorrow.

uci posted very early am, who knows!!!

You were right – UCSC decisions went up about 3 minutes ago! D. was admitted. Now we wait for UCSB, UCSD and UCB.
