Hi everyone!
I am a junior MT major at BSU and an official student employee for the main office of the Department of Theatre and Dance. I am so excited to hear all of your news about auditioning! I knew BSU was where I wanted to go right when I visited. The campus is gorgeous, green grass, trees, brick buildings, and the students were so incredibly welcoming and excited to show me around. I genuinely felt like they wanted me there among them. And I felt that even stronger among the faculty. I could really tell the faculty gave their students individual attention, and wanted each of their students to succeed. And I still believe that 2 and a half years in. My faculty members have taught me more than I ever thought I could know and have given me the confidence and passion I’ve always wanted to live and perform with. It’s obvious they care about their student’s work and well being instead of number of students enrolled or amount of tuition money coming into the department. I just wanted to share my opinions about my time here at BSU and see if maybe I could offer some insight into the life as a student here (:
