@NewYorker404 UM is in Coral Gables. I meant only to suggest you look at it’s crime rate as a factor. All campuses have issues of one sort or another. But I’m somewhat familiar with the area through friends who lived there, and here’s a Miami Herald article on Coral Gables crime to consider. Again, I meant only to suggest you factor that in. I’m not sure how many years UM guarantees campus housing, when students move off campus (like many colleges), etc.
