… that is part of the controversy…in my mind at least. I realize that Harvey Mudd and Swarthmore consider themselves liberal arts schools. They have engineering though. This is a profession. Students can get a job based on the skills they’ve learned. In most of the liberal arts schools on the NSF list, they don’t have professional programs.
