Options in GA for Pre-med

<p>How about applying to Georgia State as well as UGA? Apply early action (by October 15) for UGA since you’re not far from the profile they want.

GTech may not be a great choice for a future doctor, especially since you’d enter with a GPA lower than most and would risk a low GPA barring your from med school, but you may be able to choose a less onerous major than med school and may end up doing very well since part of your GPA is due to adjusting to higher rigor. Only you would know. GTech is a big reach though.
Don’t neglect schools such as Agnes Scott (if you’re female), Spelman/Morehouse (HBCUs), Ogglethorpe as a safety, beside the obvious GA publics. </p>
