I’m also an engineering major. You don’t need to bring SAT’s/AP’s/Transcripts, just know them. You’ll have to hand write and give them to your NSA. Also, if you took any community college courses and the transcript hasn’t sent, it might be easier to hand deliver it during orientation.

I’m not sure what that guy was talking about, but no. You will not be taking the placement exam. Right now you are eligible to choose to either take Math 31 A (Calc AB), or take Math 31 B (Calc BC).
Basically,
5 on AB= 31A option to waive 31A-> 31B (can choose to take the placement exam, waste of time).
4 on BC= 31A option to waive 31A-> 31B (can choose to take the placement exam, waste of time).
5 on BC= 31B option to waive 31B-> 32A (cannot take placement exam.)
-the placement test will only test you out of some intro pre calculus class and put you in Math 31a at the highest, it’s pointless. and you can take it as many times as you want.

It’s more so, you won’t get the times for the classes you want. But this might lead to overlapping class times, and therefore, not getting the classes you want. So you will most likely get the classes you want, but you should have a class or two as backups.
