<p>@Indianjatt: I’m assuming you are talking about the Analytical Writing Placement Examination. You will receive a letter informing whether you need to take the test or not and it will also have details on when and where to take it. </p>
<p>For the exam, you are given an excerpt to read and a prompt at the end of it asking you to respond to the text. If you had practice with these kind of essays in your high school English classes, then you should be fine.</p>
