Osteopenia

I may have mentioned this before, but here’s how I get my calcium

[Calcium Supplements, Chocolate - Adora Calcium Supplement](http://www.adoracalcium.com/)

I have one around lunch and one at night. They are a little pricey, but I think they are worth it.

Might try those, thanks for the tip

How do they taste, worknprogress? The other chocolate chewy ones are pretty bad.

** Oh, and re: the ice- people can choke on ice. That sounds dangerous.

JYM - They are really very good. I use the dark chocolate. I always eat after having a little food, I have trouble with calcium supplements in general - I get a little queasy. There is a slight medicinal taste to the wafers but overall I think they are very good.

Just dont eat a couple at a time

I don’t like the chewy ones either.

I’ve been using Adora for a couple years and agree they are worth the extra cost and effort to get them. I’m not able to find them at my local stores so I order several bags at a time from drugstore dot com. The milk chocolates are my favorites - not as good as a Hershey’s kiss, but pretty close. I haven’t had any trouble taking 2 at a time.

So I should get one each of milk and dark chocolate?

If you are a dark chocolate lover, I would go with those - but then again, I love dark chocolate. Hope you can find them locally. They carry the dark chocolate in our local grocery store (Giant) so it is no trouble finding them.

My only problem is my spouse popping two at a time.

OK- I ordered a bunch, figuring my DH will eat them too. 3 dark chocolate, one regular. Will report back with a taste test!

OMG!! The Adora just arrived. I am a bit of a stickler for good chocolate and both flavors are divine!! Thank you, my cc’er friends!!

I am not a pill taker either, but I now have no trouble taking multi-vitamins and calcium/D3–because they come in gummy forms. If all my pills came in the shape of a gummi bear, I’d be in heaven.

Just got a bone density scan done this month and I was a little worried, because I am not a big milk drinker from way back. I do spend a lot of time in the sun and play tennis, though. Lumbar spine T score was 0.4; left hip 0.0; right hip 0.9. Must be genetics…I feel like I’ve dodged a bullet.
