Shorter went through a significant controversy a few years back regarding a new requirement for faculty and students to sign a"Personal Lifestyle Statement" that said, among other things, “I reject as acceptable all sexual activity not in agreement with the Bible, including, but not limited to, premarital sex, adultery, and homosexuality.”

As noted in the article, other colleges have similar requirements, the controversy at Shorter was acute because of the rapid change from a previous attitude of tolerance to a stricter doctrine.
Don’t expect them to be doing Spring Awakening, The Wild Party, or Rent anytime soon.
