I wanted to elaborate on my comment about 22 hours of studio class time already being a lot. That doesn’t include academic class time, crew/tech, rehearsals and HOMEWORK etc. Even some top conservatories with next to no academic requirements have training hours that are about that number of hours. (Some a little more, some a little less.) This actually a subject that came up a few years ago and led me to start a thread on that very subject. And to be clear… if your son is really feeling Otterbein, he should do it. It’s a great program with more than their share of talent. Just didn’t think the reason for eliminating NYU should be about hours. That’s just misinformation.
