Out of State Acceptance Stats

This might give you an idea of the general acceptance rates and the stats for out of state enrollees. The general perception on CC is that it is very difficult to get accepted from out of state but these stats indicate that it is not as hard as some here believe (32% acceptance rate). What we don’t know is what the stats are for all OOS that apply.

My DD2 is OOS and has 29ACT/4.58 WGPA and was in the top 5% of her class plus captain of two varsity sports - accepted to Cockrell. From what I’ve read here is that OOS applicants are viewed from a holistic point of view, so ECS and leadership matter more for OOS than for in-state.
