Out of State Acceptance Stats

Hi,

I was accepted last year as an OOS and am now attending UT. Obviously your daughters grades are good and ACT is ok. However, you did not mention class rank and EC’s, I would include that information in any post concerning acceptance to any college.

At any rate, UT places a huge importance on class rank for both in state and out of state applicants. It has been posted before how the formula works and I am sure you can do a search. At any rate it is a great school and I am having a great time. But for planning purposes you can expect no financial aid as an OOS with average stats.

So back to your question, I would say it is hard to get into UT as an OOS, especially into McCombs, I would say with out a top class rank or a great business oriented hook it would be difficult. I am not sure about Communications.
