^ My mom does really look out for me and I appreciate all that she does. My dad as well! But apparently they didn’t take him serious enough the first time he came to housing (I think it might be because he has an accent since English isn’t his first language, but who knows).

My mom was very serious too. My mom told me how she was willing to live with me in my dorm if housing didn’t give me a new room just to show my roommate how uncomfortable it is having 3 people living in such a small place for more than 3 days. Knowing my mom, she *would * do it o.O

The thing I hate about Rutgers is that they don’t do SIGN INs with guests like they do at other schools. No ID. No 24 hours desk duties. I could just bring a guest and they wouldn’t know how long they’ve been there (as evident with my situation).

It is easy for an outsider to enter the buildings as well, especially the buildings with more floors and more students, such as Clothier and the three river dorms on College Avenue. You could get into the building if you want. Just wait by the door for some kid to swipe in, say thank you and enter behind him/her, and walk right up the stairs (or take the elevator) and find yourself wandering the floors.
