<p>This thread reminds me to prepay online when I get older. I don’t want to be like that 90-year old man from Michigan that died last year without paying heating gas bill. When one gets older, one tends to forget to pay for bills. Heck, I’m already forgetting things now.</p>
<p>When I am 90 I am going to be living at place where I won’t have to worry about paying any bills - preferably my kid’s house (probably not going to happen), but nursing home works for me too.</p>

<p>I pay online a lot of bills but I get some mixed up and since there is a lag time between payment and credit- some might be paid three months in advance- but the others are behind.</p>

<p>No nursing home for me. If I followed my parents footsteps, I would be staying at home right near the end. I know my mom was fiercely independent, refusing to move into my brother’s home. She often had said, she had more peace at her own home.</p>

<p>I did not open some of the bills, they were lost in my to be opened mails.</p>
