<p>I think it’s true that the IB final exam grades matter somewhat more than the GPA for British schools (predicted scores determine whether they accept you conditionally, while actual scores determine whether you are officially accepted), although GPA still holds some weight. It would be stupid to not apply if you think you have a chance of getting in.
