<p>I’ve always wondered though how Oxford and Cambridge can afford a 1:1 tutorial system given that each has over 12,000 undergraduate students and both are relatively underfunded compared to their peer institutions in the US (not least because of the cap on undergraduate tuition for UK/EU students imposed by the British government).</p>
