OK sevmom, I’ve seen the Steelers newborns in the Terrible Towel (thanks BU!). Where can I find the Packers newborns with the Cheeseheads? Googling “baby cheeseheads” isn’t working for me.

hi,12rmh18,Try Packers babies or Green Bay Babies Show Green and Gold Pride-Fox 11 news online-try a yahoo search maybe. All babies are cute, even cheeseheads. I’m still rooting for the Steelers though!

The baby cheesehead is scarred for life, but GO PACK!

^ lol! Go Packers!

It worked! I saw the baby cheesehead! The Packers babies are awfully cute, but I still gotta go with the Steelers - both babies & football team. There was a nice article in today’s WashPost about [Mike Tomlin](http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2011/02/02/AR2011020205939.html), the Steelers’ coach who played football for W&M.

Hey, the baby cheeseheads and baby Steelers babies could end up being minor celebrities in their communities. Could be a good thing rather than being scarred for life. That baby cheesehead may be able to use this in a college essay some day!

If you are undecided, here’s a good reason to cheer for the Packers - they put player safety over winning. (Having lived in WI for 4.5 years, there was never a doubt I was cheering for the Packers!!!)

<a href=“Packers and Steelers Take Sides in Concussion Debate - The New York Times”>Packers and Steelers Take Sides in Concussion Debate - The New York Times;

Root for the Packers, like Lil Wayne says: “Terrible Towels, that sh**s borin
We got the ball, you know we scoring” and “Yeah, Im from New Orleans, but I been a Packers fan, We knocked the Eagles and the Falcons and the Bears off, Now we bout to cut Troy Polamalu hair off.”

I know parent’s probably don’t listen to Lil Wayne, but he made this fight song for the Packers called “Green and Yellow” over the “Black and Yellow” beat and it is worth a listen! Hilarious!

bballgrl - D1 has the link up to that video on her FB… it’s hilarious.

Funny that the Packers seem to want to imitate Steelers stuff-the Terrible Towel is iconic-yet the Packers now want to have their own towel? The Steelers have Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow” but (if I’m understanding bballgrl’s post correctly), the Packers have to have Lil Wayne use the black and yellow beat to make a Packers song? Interesting.

There are many more Packers songs/videos out there - no worries, they can get creative on their own.

S told me about the Lil Wayne one - he warned me that there is alot of profanity. How nice that he is now old enough to “warn” me!

Good to hear about the other songs, abasket! I’ll have to listen to the Lil Wayne one, profanity and all!

I happened to see the Steeler newborns all wrapped up on TV, but there are baby Cheeseheads, too? Very cute!

My H, who is hosting the party, remains team neutral. I have to have a side to root for (to make it more fun) and I am choosing the Packers, although bclintonk is right: they are the favorites, by a few points. What sealed the deal was a negative article in our paper about the Steelers’ QB this week, followed by a positive one (yesterday) regarding the Packer’s guy (Rodgers).

Have fun, everyone!!!

There’s also a YouTube video out there of four kids who take the Lady Gaga song Romance and substitute words for cheering for the Packers. It’s very creative and very cute… and very G-rated.

teriwtt, I give these 4 Packers kids credit but the better parody of that Lady Gaga song is definitely “Steel Defense” by Acchord, also on You Tube. Hope it’s a good, exciting game on Sunday!

Noooooo, psychmom! Wait - you cannot choose solely based on Ben Bonehead vs. Aaron Eye Candy. How about a feel-good article about Mike Tomlin (see post [post=85]#85[/post] for link)? Or Brett Keisel, the Travelocity Roamin’ Gnome? Doesn’t Troy Polamalu’s hair count for anything?!

Steelers - without a doubt!

Packers are a great team. We wish them luck. But Steelers will win. A previous post mentioned that the Packers coach is a native son (Greenfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh). He’s gotta be a great guy, based upon that alone. People in his former neighborhood reportedly are cheering for “coach Mike.” They have it covered either way - Mike Tomlin or Mike McCarthy.

One good reason to cheer for either side – no cheerleaders! I figure all the women in both Pittsburgh and Green Bay say “I’ve got to much to do to go out there and freeze my **** off”

re post #97: there is a nice article in the WashPost today about Packer’s coach [Mike McCarthy](http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2011/02/04/AR2011020404732.html) and the divided loyalties in his Pittsburgh neighborhood. So, will this Super Bowl be the Battle of the Mikes (McCarthy vs. Tomlin), the Battle of the QBs (Rodgers vs. Rothlisberger) or the Battle of the Defense?

Another great article about Mike McCarthy,12rmh18, similar to the one I posted in post #68. Thanks for posting this one. My sister drives up Greenfield Avenue every day on her way home from work in downtown Pittsburgh. I’ll be visiting Pittsburgh soon and told my husband we should stop in Chasers in the Run! The Greenfield folks can’t lose tomorrow!
