i think the problem started there. My parents didn’t looked over my fafsa or profile.
They don’t really understand what they are(they don’t speak english very well) and they don’t really care about it…
i filled out myself by looking at the tax returns… im getting so stressed…

Are they willing to sit down with you and go through the information even if you have to craft the response?

I don’t know… this is off topic and personal but They are working all day and come home around 9pm… and whenever i ask them they say that they are tired… im saying this since it’s internet and i have no where to whine on… haha…

I would try and set a day and a time with them. Perhaps if they know, for instance, Wednesday we need to sit down and go through this it might go easier. I know sometimes I am tired after work and don’t want to deal with stuff, but generally if I mentally set a day and time it is easier.

i will try that… and do you know how to get the pay stub? if i just tell my mom to ask her boss for it, would she able to get it ??

What kind of business does your dad have? If it’s the kind where a person can take a bunch of deductions and seem to have a very low income, that may be what the CSS school is concerned about. If after the deductions, the family has a very low income, then the school may think the deductions are excessive because what are you living on.

Judging from the spelling & grammar of the OP, I am doubting his/her acceptance to Cornell.

I don’t know if the request from Cornell’s FA office is an indication of acceptance.

Well ,grammar of a student doesn’t mean that the student is academically stupid. There are plenty of kids in my school who can write and speak english but not good in their academics. In fact ,both valedictorian and saludictorian in my school are not 100% perfect in their english but they are academically better than other student. And I,too,am top 10% in my school. Does that clear your doubt.
