Parents don't want to pay

They have made it clear that they are not willing to pay anything for my colleges, so I was just wondering if colleges take that into consideration, understanding that there are some kids who have to work for everything despite their parents being well off.

No, colleges will not provide more need-based financial aid just because parents who could otherwise contribute to a child’s college expenses refuse to do so.
