Pashmina Shawl for Sister?

I had one stolen at the Milan airport. I put it down on a seat, turned around and it was gone. It was a Loro Piana, a gift from H. Took him few years before he replaced it.

The shawl/scarf trend is a fashion trend that I love. They are great for women of a certain age who alternate between being hot and cold. (Scarf on, scarf off – easier than taking a jacket on and off!) Sadly, I too, have left a couple of shawls/scarves on airplanes. I use the shawl as a cover up, or bunch it up to make a pillow, or back rest.

One of the reasons I’m moving away from ONLY having dark things in my accessories is just because it’s so easy to lose dark-colored items, especially in the increasingly cramped airport seats. Bright, vibrant colors are cheery and are much more visible. They also add some sizzle to basic neutral colors like black & white. I have pashminas in silver, black, blue paisley, and most recently bright orange! Also have scarves in a wide range of colors too!
