Penn 2014 RD Thread

although, with all of your legacy and what not, it sounds like you have a shot of getting in. I wouldn’t count yourself out of the game so soon.

Ah… I’m sitting at home on spring break trying to pass the time! It’s near impossible I swear!!

Good thing I’m in California, so it feels less of a wait. I’m pretty sure I got rejected though because I didn’t submit my FA documents, but haven’t received anything asking for it.

Ah, oh well! How do you propose I spend the next 4 hours? I do have a car and it is spring break… hmmph!

oh how slowly this day is going by… a bit < 4hours!

So slowly!

brainiac212, thanks! Good idea. There should be one or two kids from my IB class who get in. And thanks for the encouragement. I keep telling my parents it won’t happen, and they always say “You never know…”. But you know how sometimes you do know? I know. But I’m fine with it. Thanks for the idea! I hope they fall for it! Mwahaha.

Haha ya my moms not nice at all… She’s like start crying now and get it over with

1.5 hours till I’m accepted; lol.

haha awesome optimism coolkid
not so optimistic here.
i can already see the rejection letter in front of me.

almost an hour. i hate this. i just want to know already. i know i got rejected, so why drag it out so long? i’m watching entourage.

Good Luck all regular decision applicants!

@hopeful2b_yank3e: I’m watching The Kite Runner; has anyone read the book?
Read the book during Christmas break before my AP Lit class started; fantastic!!

@dontstopbelievin: I have to be optimistic after my rejection from Johns Hopkins lol. PENN HAS TO ACCEPT ME; theres just no other choice for them.

ah anxiety attack!

yeah penn and cornell is basically what im clinging on to.
and i watched the kite runner movie! not as good as the book but still not too bad.

I read the book, all i can say is… he got raped! I’m not very mature in case you haven’t noticed…

on topic, cornell + penn in 37 minutes

I started the movie and then went upstairs to check to see if anyone else posted on CC… god. 33 minutes. good luck guys!

haha i cant handle this anymore…

Lol, I just had a word of encouragement.

And I’m not liking the movie for two reasons: The subtitles and it just seems like a bunch of plot whereas the book gives you some background history.

the movie does skip around. and about 20 minutes!

Haven’t seen the movie or read the book yet. Worth it? So crazy that we’re at 20.

the book is worth your time.
