The University of M would be the ONLY one of that list. (I guess we have another 4-5 that are NDSU, so maybe 9-10). My son just graduated the Twin Cities with a degree in Professional Physics (Dad is also a physics teacher).
But yes, we do a lot of Moorhead, Bemidji, Jamestown, St. Marys, and a FEW Duluth. Crazy huh?! There is not a lot of guidance for our kids or encouragment

Yes. My daughter applied test optional at the end of September and she was accepted on 11/4.
oh congrats to her! But that has to be hard for him! If my daughter gets in maybe they will meet someday

Nursing are typically one of the last groups to hear. They dig into the pool and really look at academics to ensure that they will be successful. I wouldnāt get disappointed or read anything into it if she doesnāt hear until the end.
@addacd1 The differences in GPA calculation is exactly why your D filled out the SRAR. What Penn State does is attempt to āequalizeā them using the inputs from the SRAR. It is also why - on their common data set - they donāt report GPA any more. Because the numbers they use have been manipulated and massaged from the inputs. While I donāt know for a fact, I would hope that more competitive HS get a ābumpā in their GPA when compared to a less competitive HS, so that all 4.0ās arenāt equal.
It used to be that the advice given if you applied āRollingā in mid august, was to call and get switched to priority. Rolling is the LAST group to come out after EA and priority. However, someone posted above that PSU e mailed them and stated that decisions will be based on when your application was complete and not what you selected. If true, then you have nothing to worry about.

For Early Action, they promise a decision by December 24.
They do say that, but keep in mind a ādecisionā can be a deferral as well. Itās good for people to be prepared for that. It didnāt happen a lot, but it did happen.

My daughter received an envelope in the mail a few days after her acceptance appeared on the portal. It included a copy of the acceptance and other information regarding admission.
First notification is found in the portal - before any email or snail mail. It should be checked often.
