Congratulations . What time of day are these emails coming out?
When the decision is made for the application - the portal “test score” disappearance occurs around 7 pm and email comes around 11 pm-midnight or so.

More niche than typical (small school at PSU), but one of my kids received her acceptance as an engineering major in the College of Earth and Mineral Science when she opened her portal today.
She is also applying to the Schreyer Honors College within PSU.
Almost forgot: applied on 10/24, ACT: 36, weighted average: 101+, pretty much as many APs as she could fit.

congratulations! We got the same error message and are looking on Lionspath but can’t seem to access the letter? How did you get to it?

Honestly I don’t know. She just sent me a screenshot, but the website started with “mypennstate.psu.edu” if that helps.
found it! ACCEPTED. So happy his first decision was an acceptance. Was not expecting a decision until end of December bc we are OOS.

Any idea when scholarship decisions come out?
Penn State has almost no scholarships except for Millennium Scholars and Schreyer. Those are end of February. Some Provost in January I think?
But all in all, not only is PSU expensive for an instate /state related university it also doesn’t offer much FA or merit. 
Happy to hear folks have been getting acceptances already. My daughter applied August 2nd basically as soon as the application opened….praying we don’t have to wait super long. the nerves are already starting to get to her as PSU is her top choice. (hence my username lol she was born in 2008 the same year i graduated from SMEAL) she applied for Applied Mathematics- has anyone heard from Eberly? seems to be just Engineering so far

Mostly Engineering, some Earth and Mineral Science and a couple of CLA so far. My daughter’s friend applied to Eberly. She’s high stats and has not heard yet (at least not as of last night). That’s an N of 1 so take it as you will. My daughter applied DUS with similar(ish) - slightly lower GPA and amount of APs (tons of honors though) due to the way the school structures things, but high SAT - stats to what people have listed here and has not heard anything yet either. Smeal is one of the colleges that really wants to see a test score so you start at a disadvantage, although the AP Stats 4 will help.
Are you taking Honors calculus senior year? Which foreign language level did you reach or are you taking right now? What social science/history classes have you taken beside AP Psychology?
I’m not taking calculus senior year I am taking mostly all business classes. I have taken a mixed class with stat and calc material sophmore year. The math program at my school was really weirdly organized.
This year I am taking Spanish 4 I have taken Spanish every year so far with 2,3, and 4 being honors. I was also inducted into foreign language honor society in my school
I have taken all of the required classes like human geo, world history, us history. Physics, chem, and bio.
