No, that seems to be the sign that a decision was made. We went into Lion Path and saw his acceptance letter a little bit later. I assume he will get the email to check his portal at around midnight like other people mentioned, but I found the campus/major/fall semester in the letter in Lion Path. His portal still says his application is under review, but the left side no longer has the change test optional button.

I applied end of August to PSU to the Liberal Arts schoolā¦ I got the yellow thing in my portal this morning do you think I will hear soon/tomorrow?

Applied into Smeal School of Business and have correlated my schedule to business related classes.

When do you get notified if you receive merit? For my S2027, it was part of the letter for most of the schools. He did not apply to Penn St.
Penn State is notorious for giving very little merit $ except 5K for the honors college so there is a good chance there will be none.

I have a junior at PSU and my high school senior who was recently accepted for fall.
PSU takes much longer than most to send out the financial letters. Just know that they give out very little. My junior there was very lucky to receive the Provost scholarship as well as an additional one specifically for her major and she got in Schreyer. I know she just happened to get very lucky. We are in state so we know many students there and nobody else we know received anything. Iām assuming my incoming freshman will not get anything because, although they are almost identical scoring students, lighting isnāt likely to strike twice.

Is the āportalā the same as ālion pathā?
No, the āportalā is the application portal and āLion Pathā is for when you are a student.

The user name and password will be the same for both but you will only get access to lionpath after accepted.

Penn State doesnāt superscore and that number is low for Smeal. Iād either change major to DUS or switch application in portal for test optional
I donāt know anything but your stats look good to me. my son got in last week to Smeal and his sat was 1420 which isnāt much higher
For anyone that signed into Lion Path ahead of receiving the acceptance email, did you get a consent screen that you had to agree to in order to enter (after you signed in?)
I honestly donāt remember. But we hadnāt been able to log into LionPath before that (it would always give an error message). When the error message went away, and a real website appeared, we were so excited we didnāt really read any of it and kept clicking until we found the letter.
Ok, we got in but when we click on Undergraduate Admit 11/20/24, nothing comes up. Maybe the letter isnāt there yet. So she got in probably but we just donāt know yet if its UPā¦
