Maybe someone could help with some information about PSU millennium program. My daughter is a finalist and we were wondering how the program works. Do students have more work to do than the normal classroom work ? Is it too overwhelming ? She was accepted in the college of engineering and applied for the honors

It seems like a great, supportive program, intended to increase diversity in STEM.
Could anyone explain a little about the mandatory/required activities of the program ?
Do they have different classes ?
Did you try calling the school and asking these questions?
This seems to be more about fostering a collaborative, supportive, close-knit community of scholars and diversity among researchers.
Hey has anyone heard back yet? I remember them saying that decisions would be released before April 1st…
@yungspritecan They sent out their “first round” of invitations over two weeks ago with an April 1 deadline for accepting. The office said that they would most likely be sending out the next round of invites next week. We have no idea how many spots are yet to be filled and how many invitations will be sent in the next round.
This is for anybody who is a millennium scholar… how did you stand out in the application process, enough to become finalists?
